1 · Acceptance of terms

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between Linga Academy (“we”, “us”, “our”) and you (“you”, “user”, “student”, “parent”). By accessing this website, using our career-guidance assessment, or engaging our admissions and counselling services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our services.

2 · Our service

Linga Academy is a career-guidance and education-consultancy service. We help students and parents make informed decisions about courses, careers, and college admissions across India and select overseas destinations. Our work includes — but is not limited to:

• Career-discovery assessments and counselling sessions.
• Course and college shortlisting based on aptitude, interest, and budget.
• Application support, document verification, and entrance-exam guidance.
• Scholarship and management-quota paperwork.
• Post-admission first-month support (hostel, visa, settling in).

We are not a university, are not authorised to grant degrees or diplomas, and the final admission decision always rests with the institution you apply to.

3 · Acceptable use

When using this website, you agree not to:

• Submit false, misleading or fraudulent information in any form, including academic records.
• Use the site or our communication channels to harass, abuse, or threaten any staff member.
• Attempt to disrupt or breach the security of the website or its underlying infrastructure.
• Scrape, copy, or republish any content from the site without our written consent.
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit any report, course shortlist or counselling output we provide.

4 · Accounts & eligibility

To use our services you must be at least 16 years old, or be acting under the supervision of a parent or guardian. By submitting any form on this website, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and current, and — if you are under 18 — that your parent or guardian has reviewed and approved it.

5 · Career-test disclaimer

Our Career Guidance Test is an indicative, research-backed psychometric tool. It is built to suggest streams, courses and study paths that are likely to suit you, based on your responses to the questionnaire. It is not:

• A clinical psychological diagnosis.
• A guarantee of admission, performance, or career outcome.
• A substitute for direct conversation with a qualified counsellor or psychiatrist if you are facing mental-health concerns.

Final career and course decisions are yours — and we recommend you take them in conversation with your parents, school counsellor, and a senior Linga Academy advisor.

6 · Fees & payments

Our Career Guidance Test, the resulting report, and the 60-minute counselling call are free for students and parents. We are remunerated by partner universities as a recognised admissions consultant only when a student you have chosen to enrol at a partner university completes admission through us.

Wherever a service is paid (for example, overseas application kits or premium document services), the fee, the scope, and the payment terms will be quoted to you in writing before you commit. We do not collect cash. All payments are made through traceable digital channels in your name.

7 · Refund policy

The following refund principles apply to any optional, paid service you take from us:

• Cooling-off period. If you change your mind within 7 days of payment and we have not yet delivered the service, you receive a 100% refund.
• Partial-delivery refund. If a service is in progress, we will refund the cost of any portion that has not yet been delivered.
• Non-refundable items. University application fees, entrance-exam fees, and government processing charges paid through us on your behalf are non-refundable, since these are paid out to third parties.
• Timeline. Refunds are processed back to the original payment method within 10 working days of approval.

If you believe you are owed a refund, write to admissions@lingaacademy.in with your enquiry reference and we will respond within 3 working days.

8 · Intellectual property

All content on this website — including but not limited to the Linga Academy name, logo, the design of this site, the structure and questions of the career-guidance test, our reports, and our shortlists — is the intellectual property of Linga Academy. You may use these materials for your personal, non-commercial career planning. You may not reproduce them on another website, sell them, or use them to compete with our service.

9 · Communications & consent

When you fill in a form on our website or share your contact details with us, you consent to being contacted by us — and only by us — over the channels you have selected: phone call, WhatsApp, RCS, SMS, or email. Specifically:

Standard message and data rates from your carrier may apply for SMS and RCS messages we send you.

10 · Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Linga Academy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages — including loss of opportunity, loss of admission, or career-outcome losses — arising out of your use of our website or services. Our total liability for any direct loss arising from a paid service shall be capped at the amount you have paid for that specific service in the preceding 12 months.

11 · Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and shall be construed under the laws of the Republic of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Hyderabad, Telangana.

12 · Changes to these terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be at this URL, with the “Last updated” date visible at the top of the page. Continued use of our services after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
